South East Queensland Pet Taxis can offer Airport Transfers for you and your Pet. We have a range of air conditioned SUV’s and Vans plus small animal floats for flexibility or extra luggage, saving you the hassle of having to arrange multiple services for the one trip.

Airport lodgement services for Breeders in regional areas
Pets travelling to South East Queensland with Dogmovers Regional & Interstate services for further air travel to other states and territories will usually spend the night with us at our Gold Coast facilities before being transferred to the airport on the day of departure.
Flights may be booked by yourself directly with the airlines or their Freight forwarders or through one of the many Pet travel Agencies that service the area.
If you are travelling yourself on the same flight the airlines will allow you to book your pets at the cheaper excess baggage rates at the time of booking your tickets. If this is the case it is very important that you have an appropriate crate available or hire one through a Pet Travel Agent. Additionally in this instance the pet cannot be lodged with the airline by a 3rd Party, you may need to travel with us or meet us at the freight terminal to lodge your pet 90 minutes before the flight as lodgement and collection in this case can only be done by the person travelling with the pet.
For domestic flights on Virgin or Qantas, lodgement of pets is usually made 90 minutes before the flight is due to leave. If you have organised the flights yourself it is imperative that the travel crate is airline approved and of an appropriate size for the animal to avoid delays or additional costs at lodgement time as the airlines will refuse to accept inappropriate containers.
QANTAS freight agent, will also require a veterinary form for all pups and kittens under 12 weeks of age or for Brachycephalic pets. And there are documents that may need to be signed by the owner prior to lodgement.
Virgins Freight agents require a AVI Acceptance Checklist that need to be signed by the owner prior to lodgement.

Owners can travel FREE with their pets
Whether you have arranged your Pets flight details yourself, or through one of the many Pet travel agents we are able to assist with the transfer between your home and the Airport.
Our PET Shuttle services to both Brisbane and Coolangatta airports service all the main Airlines & Freight terminals or we can collect from or deliver to any of the many Pet Transport Agents operating throughout the area.
Your pets can travel in their own travel crate or in one supplied by us at no additional charge. Larger animals will be housed in the cages built into our PET TAXI vehicles or Vans.

Dogmovers are based on the Gold Coast and have regular scheduled runs from Melbourne to Brisbane as well as throughout Northern NSW and Regional Queensland to as far north as Townsville and Cairns.
Additionally Dogmovers can now move your pets to Southern NSW, Canberra, Victoria and South Australia.
Dogmovers operates similarly to an interstate bus service, from central meeting points in most towns on our routes and prices are based on meeting clients at these points. We will happily stop at other points along the main routes at no extra charge if required. However we do charge extra if we are required to do door to door pickups or deliveries in town or off the main route in regional areas.

Livestock & Wildlife transport services
We are able to carry Wildlife & Small domestic livestock such as poultry, sheep, goats & miniature pigs throughout South East Queensland in our small animal trailers. We do not generally cart livestock in the vehicles with the exception of small or young animals to approximately 10kgs in weight, within plastic travel crates.

Be sure to check
Some domesticated farm animals such as goats and pigs may require a waybill or other documentation to be prepared by the owner / shipper prior to travel. Please check with the Department of primary Industries for further information.
There are of course restrictions on the movement of some types of native, and wild animals and in some cases a permit is required to be held by either the shipper, receiver or both. In these instances we would need to obtain a copy of the appropriate permits prior to travel.
Some breeds of dog have been classified as dangerous by local government departments in some areas. There are not currently any restrictions on the transport of these animals however owners and purchasers should make themselves familiar with the specific rules relating to their individual areas.
We do reserve the right to refuse to transport any animal that we consider presents a risk to ourselves, any other animals that we may be carrying or to the Public. This includes but is not limited to aggressive or unhealthy animals.
Our PET TAXI pricing is generally calculated based on the time it will take to do the individual job, including return to base, preparation and clean up. Our local prices will usually cover one or two animals to the same destination, further animals, or additional services may incur additional charges based upon any additional time the service is expected to take including loading and unloading.
When you contact us for a price, we will need to know the address for pick up and collection, the desired date and time and details regarding the animals or any special needs they may have. Our quote will include GST, a reasonable amount of time for collecting and delivering your pets and any cages or crates we would provide for the move.
If we are required to wait to collect the pets again, for instance during a vet appointment, or they are not ready to collect when we arrive at the appointed time or for any other reason we do charge a stand by rate as detailed below.
PET TAXIS are available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week however we do charge more for jobs done outside normal business hours, on weekends and public holidays or where we do not have at least 24 hours notice of the job.
Normal rates will apply for jobs starting within our standard transport hours and being completed within 2 hours of these times. Jobs starting outside these times or not expected to be completed within 2 hours of these times will incur a surcharge as detailed below.
To avoid disappointment we suggest you book your pet transport early as we can be booked out on some days.
